Mixed Mines Pendant
You know that saying about going big or going home? Pretty sure this piece inspired that! This big ol’ beauty was born from a wild idea, and an even wilder there days trying to make the vision a reality. There were a few times that I thought she had defeated me, but I was determined to see her finished. I’m honestly so proud of how this one turned out, and when she finds her new home it will be so bitter sweet.
The stones are a fabulous mix of various mines and materials. The middle stone is Saguaro Variscite and the remainder are all turquoise from different American mines.
I’m not going to say that this pendant isn’t heavy, she weighs 136 grams, but it is such a luxurious weight that will remind you of the quality and hard work that went into the completion of this project. She is just under 4” wide, and 5” long including the bail. The bail is built to accommodate a large set of sterling pearls and can fit 12mm comfortably.
Stamped sterling and signed with my maker’s mark.
