Robin's Egg Turquoise Ring

Is this ring pushing it for the gals who like to keep their jewelry on the smaller side? I think so, but I couldn't help sneaking this chunky piece of turquoise goodness in! I WAS able to rein myself in some and keep it simple with a rope border, but that's as much as I was willing to compromise! :) The stone is one that I picked up while on a buying trip in New Mexico last August, so I am not positive on the mine, but I can guarantee that it was mined and shaped here in the US! The stone sits on a "diamond pattern" sterling silver band.
