If you followed along on social media while I built this ring, you'll probably know why this one was lovingly called the Light Switch Cover! She is big, she has some heft, and honestly I think she needs a matching belt buckle. This one was a ton of work, with 75 accents that had to be soldered on, and over three days of work on this piece alone. I'm pretty proud of how she turned out. The stone is a stunning Black Jack rectangle that I picked up in Santa Fe this year from the Ottesons. The inky black makes the ribbon of minty turquoise pop.

I typically make all of my rings adjustable, but with the heft of this one, I decided to put a fixed band on it. She sits at a size 8.25. She weighs in at 70 grams, and let me tell you, that weight feels luxurious,

Stamped sterling and signed with my maker's mark.

NATURAL STONES, INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER

Turquoise and natural stones vary in color, matrix, and shape, making every piece uniquely its own.

MADE TO BE KEPT

Quality materials and intentional craftsmanship create pieces designed to be worn, loved, and passed down.

A woman stands in a rustic outdoor setting with a metal fence, wearing a beige cowboy hat, a cream knit vest over a brown and cream striped long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and multiple layered silver necklaces.

 NO TWO ARE THE SAME

Made Around the Stone

Every Double M piece begins with materials that already have a character of their own. Natural turquoise and stones vary in matrix, color, shape, and markings, so those differences are not flaws. They are what make each finished piece uniquely yours.

MacKenzie designs by hand around the individual stone, allowing its natural character to help shape the finished piece rather than forcing it into a mass-produced mold.
